It is not official Tesla guidance, professional automotive advice, legal advice or financial advice, and it is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. Follow your owner’s manual and local law, which always win, and remember that driver-assist features require your full attention.
Use of this site
You may read, print, and share these pages for personal use, and quote from them with attribution and a link. Republishing substantial portions, or reproducing pages in bulk for another site or for training a commercial dataset without permission, is not permitted. Accuracy and limitations
Tesla models and software change between releases. Menu locations move, defaults change, and features are added and removed. Guides are checked by script, not reviewed by an automotive professional (see how this site works). Errors are possible and accuracy is not guaranteed, and a page may be out of date by the time you read it. Where a figure cannot be verified we write Not reported rather than estimating.
Results from the tools on this site are estimates based on the numbers you enter, not definitive advice. Each tool states its method and assumptions so you can check the working. They do not read anything from your vehicle.
Your owner’s manual, the law and driving safely
Your owner’s manual and Tesla’s official service information take precedence over anything here. Follow the traffic laws where you drive. Autopilot, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and similar features are driver assistance: you must stay attentive and ready to take over at all times. Do not use this site or its tools while driving, and do not attempt work on a high-voltage system yourself.
