No. It is used only to tell you when the email edition starts, and it is handled according to our privacy policy. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
Why not just launch the email now?
Sending a daily email properly needs subscription management, double opt-in, and reliable unsubscribe handling. Rather than promise a daily email we cannot yet deliver, the briefing is published here first.
Is there a cost?
No. The briefing is free to read on the site, and the email edition will be free when it starts. Nothing here is paid for.
