This site is static HTML. It sets no cookies of its own, has no user accounts, and stores nothing you type. No analytics, advertising or video service is loaded today. A cookie-choices dialog asks you to choose on your first visit, and the single thing stored in your browser is your answer to it.

Anything you type into a tool on this site — battery health, storage figures, screen time — is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted. Reloading the page clears it.
Analytics
This site loads no analytics today: no analytics script is requested and no analytics cookie or identifier is set, whichever button you press. If an analytics service is added in future it would load only after you choose “Accept all”, and this policy would be updated in the same change.
Advertising
Ad slots on this site are visibly marked placeholders and no advertising network is
currently loaded, so no advertising cookie or identifier is set. If Google AdSense or a
comparable network is enabled later, it would set cookies and may use them for personalised
advertising, and it would load only after you choose “Accept all”. The root
ads.txt file contains a placeholder publisher ID.
Affiliate links
A small number of pages contain affiliate links, currently the accessories and charging
guides. Each link is marked, carries rel="sponsored nofollow", and appears on a
page with a visible disclosure near the top. Following one takes you to a third-party
retailer whose own privacy policy then applies; we receive no personal information about
you, only aggregate commission reporting.
Newsletter and contact forms
There is no backend on this site, so nothing you submit is stored here. No form handler is connected, so both forms fall back to opening your own email app, which means any message you send is an ordinary email between you and us — no third party is involved. The email edition is not sending yet, so an address left with us is used solely to tell you when it starts. It is never sold or shared, any future edition will carry a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and comparable laws elsewhere you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Because this site holds no personal data beyond newsletter subscriptions, most requests concern that list. Email iphonebriefing@0a0.info. You may also withdraw cookie consent at any time using Cookie choices.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is written for adults, including adults setting up devices for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the newsletter is not directed at them.
